Whitney Guitars - Heritage Series OM

ROOTED IN FORM

The Heritage OM draws from the original orchestral model, carried forward with restraint. A 14-fret OM platform with a full 25.4” scale offers a familiar foundation, paired with a Sitka spruce top and Honduran mahogany neck.

The voice is open and controlled, with a response that settles in quickly. In the hands, small refinements — from the fingerboard edge to string spacing — create a sense of ease without drawing attention to themselves.

Details remain traditional — understated, and consistent with the form. It feels familiar from the first note — and stays that way.

HERITAGE SERIES OM

The OM sits between larger-bodied acoustics and more compact designs — retaining clarity and balance without excess in the low end. Its proportions lend themselves to a controlled, even response across the register.

Introduced in the early 20th century, the orchestral model remains a reference point for players seeking articulation and separation. Its scale length and body geometry favour note definition over sheer power.

It’s a shape that reveals itself quickly — responsive, controlled, and easy to return to.
