Service Description
Our 'General Assessment' service includes a complete formal assessment of your instrument and covers details such as structural deficiencies (i.e. braces, bridge, neck, etc.), damage assessments due to mishandling, current market value estimates, replacement costs and so forth. Included in this service is a professional written assessment that is suitable for insurance claims and general inquiries on condition and market value for buying and selling instruments. NOTE: This service is a 'drop-off' service only. We will provide a full written estimate via PDF to your email to detail exactly what is required and the associated costs. All services begin with a formal estimate at $80, due at time of booking. This fee will be applied toward your final bill if you decide to proceed with the work. This fee is non-refundable and covers our time to diagnose and provide a full written summary of your instrument.
Cancellation Policy
1) Pricing is for labor only and reflects an $125/hour service charge. Strings and other required parts are not included. Examples: Strings ~$13, Bone nut or saddle material ~$12, Fret wire ~$15 for standard, $35 for EVO gold or stainless. 2) The minimum charge for all jobs is $40 CDN. 3) To cancel or reschedule, we require 24 hours notice. No-shows and notice given less than 24 hours will incur a $25 fee.
