A TRUE GYPSY JAZZ RHYTHM GUITAR

But she’s more than that… The Vagabond D-Hole Gypsy Jazz Guitar is our interpretation of François Charle’s #807 Selmer, featuring a 14-fret connection with a longer 670 mm scale length.

Staying true to form with traditional build techniques, this D-hole Gypsy Jazz Guitar features 3-ply veneer back and sides for improved tonality and overall strength. The soundboard features a real ‘pliage’ or fold  just under the bridge versus the more common ‘forced top’ commonly being made by manufacturers. The end result produces more punch, volume and quick attack.

Beautifully-grained Pau-ferro serves as the exterior veneer and the inner consists of a mahogany veneer with a thin layer of shellac. Sitka spruce compliments the soundboard with an ebony fingerboard, mahogany neck and ebony face veneer on the headstock. Basic hardware consists of Schaller open-gear tuners and standard tailpiece with ebony insert and leather detail. Upgrade options are available.
