The Digital Nut Slotting Gauge provides a quick and accurate way to measure string height over the first fret so that accurate nut slot depths can be filed. What this means is that it is easier to facilitate more consistent playability for varying playing styles. In short, no more ‘guesswork’ or ‘eyeballing’ string heights and no more searching for that elusive combination of feeler gauges.

The Digital Nut Slotting Gauge features an easy to read digital indicator with a ‘press-button’ zero point and is accurate to 0.0005″. The machined brass base fits over the strings to rest on the fingerboard enabling it to work with most acoustic and electric guitars as well as mandolins and banjos.
