Guitar Building for Veterans – Program Overview

Our ‘Guitar Building for Veterans’ program serves to teach veterans the art of guitar making and to then create a donation platform to place those veteran-made guitars into the hands of fellow veterans and first-responders who may be suffering from PTSD and other MDDs (Major Depressive Disorders).

The program is reciprocal in nature and truly creates a win/win scenario by putting healing back into the hands of the veteran; Essentially a ‘guitars for vets, by vets’ program.

Why Donations Are Helpful

In order to facilitate the teaching component, donations help to sign up a fellow US or CDN veteran suffering from PTSD or MDD to enrol as a student at the ‘Whitney School of Guitar Building’. Every donation that is made will work toward an individual course fee, which in turn will sponsor a veteran to enrol in our guitar building programs.

With your help, we can continue to teach veterans the art of guitar making while providing even more guitars for fellow veterans.
